These terms apply to all users of WebsiteServers.lk services, including but not limited to customers, visitors, and anyone who accesses or uses our services.

3. Services Provided

WebsiteServers.lk provides the following services:

4. Account Registration

5.4 Late Payments

6. Refund Policy

6.1 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all new shared hosting purchases. If you are not satisfied with our services within the first 30 days, you may request a full refund.

6.2 Refund Exclusions

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Domain registration and renewal fees
  • SSL certificate purchases (except the FREE SSL included with hosting)
  • Setup fees (if applicable)
  • Services older than 30 days
  • Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations

6.3 Refund Process

To request a refund, contact our support team with your account details and reason for cancellation. Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Acceptable Use Policy. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

7.1 Illegal Activities

  • Hosting or distributing illegal content
  • Copyright infringement or piracy
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful software
  • Phishing, scamming, or fraudulent activities
  • Unauthorized access to computer systems

7.2 Resource Abuse

  • Excessive CPU usage that affects server performance

  • Using hosting for file storage or backup purposes only
  • Cryptocurrency mining

7.3 Prohibited Content

  • Adult or pornographic content
  • Hate speech or discriminatory content
  • Content promoting violence or illegal activities
  • Spam or unsolicited bulk email
  • Warez, pirated software, or illegal downloads

7.4 Email Usage

  • Sending spam or unsolicited commercial email
  • Email harvesting or list purchasing
  • Forging email headers
  • Operating mail servers for third parties

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

8. Uptime Guarantee

We guarantee 99.9% uptime for our shared hosting services. This guarantee excludes:

  • Scheduled maintenance (with advance notice)
  • Emergency maintenance
  • Issues caused by the customer's website or scripts
  • DDoS attacks or other security incidents
  • Force majeure events beyond our control

In the event that uptime falls below 99.9% in a given month, eligible customers may request service credit equal to one month of hosting fees.

9. Data and Backups

9.1 Your Responsibility

While we provide weekly automated backups, you are ultimately responsible for maintaining your own backups of your website data, databases, and files. We strongly recommend keeping regular local copies of your data.

9.2 Our Backup Policy

We perform weekly backups stored on Google Drive with up to 4 restore points. Backups are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for any data loss.

9.3 Data Retention

Upon account cancellation or termination, we retain your data for 7 days. After this period, all data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by Customer

You may cancel your hosting account at any time through your client area or by contacting our support team. Cancellation must be requested before the next billing date to avoid charges.

10.2 Termination by WebsiteServers.lk

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately without notice if:

  • You violate these Terms and Conditions
  • You breach the Acceptable Use Policy
  • Your account is used for illegal activities
  • Payment is not received within 7 days of the due date
  • Your account poses a security risk to our servers

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to services will be immediately revoked. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods or for accounts terminated for policy violations.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WebsiteServers.lk and Peek Hosting shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions or data loss
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
  • Any damages exceeding the amount you paid for services in the past 12 months

We provide services on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
